The Lord Mayor opened the meeting at 6:01 pm, welcomed those in attendance and noted the apologies.
|
The minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Monday, 22 November 2021, be confirmed as an accurate record.
COUNCILLOR DUTTA
That the recommendation be adopted. |

MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
The minutes were signed. |
The Lord Mayor noted the procedures for the conduct of the meeting were attached to the agenda and provided an overview of how questions from the floor would be taken.
4. Lord Mayor’s Address

The Lord Mayor addressed the meeting in relation to the City’s achievements for the 2021-22 year in review and the Annual Report. |

Children’s Mayor, Finn Goddard and Children’s Deputy Mayor, Evelyn Bresnehan, presented their manifesto’s to the meeting. |
|
|
There were no formal written submissions received in relation to the 2021-22 Annual Report however the Lord Mayor noted seven questions had been submitted.
|
|
|
Present members of the community were invited to ask questions relating to the 2021-22 Annual Report and the Lord Mayor’s Address. Questions were asked with responses provided by the relevant senior member of staff. A recording of the meeting can be viewed on the City of Hobart YouTube Page. |

6. Closure of Meeting
There being no further business, the Lord Mayor closed the meeting at 6.57pm.
