1. WELCOME COUNTRY
The Lord Mayor opened the meeting at 6:00pm, welcomed those in attendance and introduced a proud member of the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, Trish Hodge who provided a Welcome to Country.
The Lord Mayor then provided an acknowledgment of Country.

The minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Monday, 28 November 2022, be confirmed as an accurate record.
COUNCILLOR HARVEY COUNCILLOR POSSELT
That the recommendation be adopted.

The minutes were signed. |

The Lord Mayor noted the procedures for the conduct of the meeting were attached to the agenda and provided an overview of how questions from the floor would be taken.

The Lord Mayor addressed the meeting in relation to the City’s achievements for the 2022-2023 year in review and the Annual Report.

|
Children’s Mayor, Olive Nielsen, Princes Street Primary School and Children’s Deputy Mayor, Bella Child, St Mary’s College, presented their manifesto’s to the meeting. |
5. CITY OF HOBART ANNUAL REPORT
|
|
Present members of the community were invited to ask questions relating to the 2022-23 Annual Report and the Lord Mayor’s address.
Questions were asked with responses provided by the relevant senior member of staff. A recording of the meeting can be viewed on the City of Hobart YouTube Page.

That the City of Hobart Annual Report for 2022-23 be adopted.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

There being no further business, the Lord Mayor closed the meeting at 7:00pm.
