1.       Indications of Pecuniary and Conflicts of Interest

Ref: Part 2, Regulation 8(7) of the Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Regulations 2015.

 

Aldermen are requested to indicate where they may have any pecuniary or conflicts of interest in respect to any matter appearing on the agenda, or any supplementary item to the agenda, which the committee has resolved to deal with.

 

No interest was indicated.

Mr Chris Groves – Principal of Dobson Mitchell Allport, representing the petitioner, Mr Richard Swifte addressed the Committee in relation to item 2.1.

 

Mr Nick Beattie – Principal of Nick Beattie Barrister and Solicitor, representing the respondent, Mr David Tarbath addressed the Committee in relation to item 2.1.

That having regard to the opinion of Philip Jackson SC dated 25 September 2018 and being satisfied the Council has the power to hear and determine the petition to amend sealed plan 125929 pursuant to section 104 of the Local Government (Building and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993, the Council refuse to amend Sealed Plan 125929 – 2 and 4 Bell Street, New Town.
