Alderman Sexton arrived at the meeting at 3:50 pm during discussion of item 2.1.

 

The Lord Mayor arrived at the meeting at 3:46 pm and was co-opted to the committee for item 2.1.

 

Alderman Briscoe was co-opted to the committee.

Ref: Part 2, Regulation 8(7) of the Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Regulations 2015.

 

Aldermen are requested to indicate where they may have any pecuniary or conflicts of interest in respect to any matter appearing on the agenda, or any supplementary item to the agenda, which the committee has resolved to deal with.

2.1      Department of State Growth's Hobart Traffic Congestion Report - Implementation of Clearways and Parking Incentives

That the recommendation contained in the report of the Manager Traffic Engineering and the Director City Infrastructure of 20 January 2017, be adopted, as amended by the deletion of Clause 2.

That the Council approve clearways being implemented on the following Hobart streets:

(i)      For 25 metres on the right side of Davey Street upstream of the Southern Outlet; and

(ii)     The right side of Barrack Street (between Macquarie Street and Davey Street).
